WILSON, HELEN JEANNETTE TERRELL, 73 Dunnellon - Helen Jeannette Terrell Wilson, age 73, died peacefully on January 27, 2015 at her home in Dunnellon, FL due to complications from cancer. She was born on June 12, 1941 to the late Lillie Mae Bell Terrell and Quence Jack Terrell in Dunnellon, FL. Helen was educated at Booker T. Washington High School, Dunnellon, FL. In 1961, she met and married the love of her life, Mr. Millard D. Wilson, they've been joined together in holy matrimony for over 53 years. Helen retired from Citrus Springs Elementary, after working 15 years as a cook. She also worked for 15 years at Lady Bayard Industries, a textile manufacture. Helen first began her working career at Sea Sweet Crabmeat Company in Crystal River, FL, were she was employed for 15+ years as well. Helen thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking, so she ventured out as an entrepreneur in the fast-food industry. In a joint partnership with her brother she became known for her famous pork chop & chicken sandwiches. People traveled from near and far to experience her specialty sandwiches and hot wings. Helen is survived by her husband, Millard Wilson; five children, Jeffery Wilson and Darlene Wilson of Dunnellon, FL, Sharon Brown Coaxum, Jerome Brown and Carlore Brown of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren, Abraham McDonald, Patrickk McDonald and DeeDee of Gainesville, FL, Courtney Brown, Daon Douglas, Jeremy Pickett and Kendall Thomas of Ocala, FL; one great-grandson Elijah Pryce McDonald, Ocala, FL; four brothers, Quincy Norris Terrell, Jimmie Lee Terrell and Victor Terrell of Dunnellon, FL and Dr. Isaac Terrell of Houston, TX; two aunts, Minnie Pearl Troupe and Rosa Gathers of Tampa, FL; one uncle, John Brown of Dunnellon, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A Wake Service will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., February 7, 2015 at Union Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Reverend Eric Cummings, Pastor.
