The death of Helen Jacqueline (Jackie) Hare wife of Arnold Hare of Curventon, NB, occurred on Monday, October 27, 2008 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 74. Born in Northwest Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Ella Mae (Howe) Henderson. Besides her husband: Arnold, Jackie is survived by: two daughters: Karen Daigle-Wilcox of Minto, NB; Paulette Matthews (Ken) of Boom Road, NB; one son: Robert (Bobby) (Paula) of Sunny Corner, NB; six sisters: Jessie Hovey of Miramichi, NB; Marjorie Riley, Mona Fraser both of Toronto, ON; Eloise Murphy (Del) of Boom Road, NB; Vera Henderson of Whitney, NB; Anne Kierstead (Bruce) of Campbellton, NB; one brother: Murray Henderson of Gimley, MB; six grandchildren: Stacey, Jeremy, Cameron, Jason, Melissa and Shamus; five great grandchildren: Austin, Madison, Dennis, Evelyn and Patricia and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Jackie is predeceased by: three brothers: Herman, Bob and Calvin; four sisters: Frances, Grace, Nina and Kay. The family received visitors at Meadows Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service was held from the Wesley United Church, Trout Brook on Thursday at 2 PM with Rev. Blair Whyte officiating. Organist Lois McKinnon was accompanied by the Church Choir; Congregational and Choir Hymns: "We Shall Gather At the River" and "The Old Rugged Cross"; Soloist Stacey Turner sang "Amazing Grace"; Eulogy by Marlene Nowlan; Active Pallbearers: Jeremy Cain, Cameron Hare, Jason Harris, Shamus Cain, Fraser McAllister and Patrick Turner. Burial followed in the Wesley United Church Cemetery. In Jackie's memory, donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a memorial of one's choice.
