Helen Pace Goodwin, 83, of Pace Valley Road, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009.Born in North Carolina, December 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James Claude and Camley Stancell Pace. She was married to Johnny Benson Goodwin, who preceded her in death March 21, 2009.Mrs. Goodwin was a homemaker and a member of Pickens Seventh Day Adventist Church.Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Tritschler, and husband, Don, of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Jeannette Pace Bracken, and husband, Ray, of Easley; and two grandchildren, Christina Schopp and Brandon Schopp.A brother, James Claude Pace Jr., preceded her in death.Graveside services will be held Friday, April 17, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends Friday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.Obituaries and online registry at www.mackeymortuary.com.
