GIBSON Helen (Konski) Gibson, age 95, of Stratford entered eternal ife Sunday, June 18, 2006 in Griffin Hospital, Derby. Mrs. Gibson was born December 20, 1910 in Wilkes Barre, Pa., daughter of the late Rudolph and Pauline Konski, and had been a long time Stratford resident. She was a retired printer for Wright Investors and an avid reader having spent many hours in the Stratford Library. Survivors include her devoted son, Edward Gibson and his wife, Terry, of Beacon Falls; two sisters, Mary Carney of Stratford, and Olga Schmidt of Clinton; three grandchildren, Edward P. Gibson and his wife, Elizabeth, Michael J. Gibson, and Douglas P. Gibson and his wife, Cheyanne; three great-grandchildren, Edward P. II, Tiffany and Taylor Gibson; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday, June 21. 2006 at 9:30 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford, and at 10:30 a.m. in Saint James Church Stratford, for a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Tuesday (TODAY) from 5 to 8 p.m.
