Helen G. Smithof BinghamtonHelen G. Smith, 86, of Binghamton, died peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2005, at Bridgewater Nursing Home. She is survived by her daughters, Jeannine Harjers, Joni Bergmann, Joyce Brown; son, George (Skip) Harjers; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Helen worked for several years at Lourdes Hospital. She enjoyed attending church services, playing Bingo, reading, and especially loved spending time with Jeannine.A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, September 2, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, with Pastor Rich Grimes of Missionary Alliance officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
