May 26, 2004 Helen G. McMahon, 86, of Central Square, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Seneca Hill Manor, Oswego. Born in Brewerton, NY, she had lived in Central Square since 1946. Before retiring, she had worked at Sealright in Fulton. She was a member of Central Square Grange #583, a member of the Oswego County Home Bureau and an avid reader. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard (Tom) in 1996. Surviving are her caregivers, nephew James and Cheryl McMahon of Central Square; a sister, Mary Maderious of Syracuse; a brother, George Young of Cicero; three other nephews and a niece. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004, at the Watson Funeral Home, Inc., 631 So. Main St., Central Square, with burial in the McMahon Family Cemetery, Pennellville. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York, c/o Hotel Syracuse, 550 So. Warren St., Syracuse, NY 13202.
