Helen E. Smith, 90, died May 26, 2007, at HQM of Palm Bay. She was born in New Brunswick, N.J., and lived in Barefoot Bay for 22 years, coming from Piscataway, N.J. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church, the Lionaides, Mid-Atlantic Club and the Polish-American Club all of Barefoot Bay and of the Saint Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Piscataway, N.J., where she served on the Rosary Altar Society. Survivors include her sons, John S. Smith of Hillsborough, N.J., and Thomas M. Smith of Middlesex, N.J.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Smith. SERVICES: The funeral was May 30 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. Further services will be in Piscataway, N.J., under the direction of the Piscataway Funeral Home with burial in the Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
