CORYDON MILLER, HELEN E., 93, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital, New Albany, IN. She was born in Laconia, IN on January 11, 1916 the daughter of William and Dorothy Liebert Kinzer. She was a retired employee of the old M. Fine Shirt Factory in New Albany, an active member of the Corydon Presbyterian Church, of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and former member of the Harrison County Hospital Guild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glenn Miller; sister, Freida Luther; and five brothers, Charles, Marion, Pinkney, Richard and Stanley Kinzer. She is survived by a son, Lamar Miller (Virginia), of Elizabeth, IN; a daughter, Betty Denbo (Vernon), of Corydon; one sister, Mary Simcox, of Elizabeth; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Funeral service will be held at the Corydon Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth. Visitation will be held a the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon on Friday from 1-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
