->Helen M. Cox COHOES - Helen M. Cox of Edward St. in Cohoes died peacefully at her residence Thursday November 6, 2014 embraced by her loving family. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Mary E Marra Cox, Sr. Helen was a life long resident of Cohoes and graduated from Cohoes School. She was employed as an executive secretary for the NYS Department of Humane Rights in Albany for over 30 years. A nature enthusiast, Helen enjoyed all forms of wildlife, camping and she was an avid walker. She is survived by many dear nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Edna Downs, Lillian Breton, Jane Timmer and George F. Cox, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning, November 11, 2014 at Church of the Holy Trinity 122 Vliet Blvd., at 11:00. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Church of the Holy Trinity Tuesday morning from 10-11 prior to Mass. Those wishing to remember Helen in a special way may make contributions to Church of the Holy Trinity, Organ Fund, 122 Vliet Blvd Cohoes, NY 12047.
