CATHCART Helen DeEtte (Richardson) passed away at Mount St. Mary Hospital on April 16, 2004. She was born on Gabriola Island, on October 5 1914. Helen is survived by children Holly Luck and Jim (Pam), grandchildren David, Amber, Larianne (Rod), Heather, Lynelle, (Peter), and Holly. She was predeceased by her husband David, son Bill, and grandson Collin. Helen was raised in Vancouver 4th of 10 children and is survived by Norman (Jo) Richardson, Jean (Doug) Hadley, and Frankie (Harold) Littler, and many nieces & nephews. She married David in 1935 and they raised their children in Manitoba and then retired to Cobble Hill and Victoria. She was a 57 year member of the OES in Vancouver, Gladstone MB, Neepawa MB, Duncan BC and Queen City Chapter #5 Victoria. The family is very grateful for the caring staff of Mount St. Mary who gave such love and support. There will be a Memorial Service on Tuesday April 20 at 3pm, in the Chapel at Mount St. Mary. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's name may be made to the Mount St. Mary Music Therapy Program, 861 Fairfield Road, Victoria, BC V8V 5A9.
