MERIDEN - Helen C. O'Loughlin Anderson, 92, of 64 Murray St., wife of the late William O'Loughlin and Robert G. Anderson, died on Thursday, April 19, 2007, at MidState Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Meriden on Aug. 31, 1914, she was the daughter of the late George A. Cook and Elizabeth (Semrau) Cook. She had resided in Meriden all her life and graduated from Meriden schools. Mrs. Anderson was employed by Curtis Way Co., New Departure, both in Meriden, and Connecticut General in Wallingford. She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Pienkosz of Meriden; a son, William J. O'Loughlin and his wife, Cheryl of Meriden; four grandchildren, Jill O'Loughlin Hayes, Elizabeth Pienkosz, Andrew Pienkosz, and Julianne Pienkosz; a great-grandchild, Liam Patrick Hayes; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Frances Hessel; and three brothers, Paul, Al and George. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, and 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, prior to the Mass on Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. See obituary at www.jferryfh.com
