JOHNSON Helen C. (Porado) Johnson, age 90, died in Orange Healthcare on Sunday, February 16, 2003. Born in Stamford, she was the wife of the late Fingel Johnson, and was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Kranak of Pensacola, Fla. and Cathy Pistey of Milford; a son, Charles Johnson of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Porado of Hollywood, Fla. and Philip Porado of Princeton, N.J., as well as many nieces and nephews. Fuenral services will be held privately at her family’s convenience, with interment to be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center.
