NEW ALBANY COX, HELEN C., 77, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Corydon, IN and a member of Bonnie Sloan American Legion Post #28 in New Albany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville E. Cox; and sisters, Mildred Alexander and Jeanie Kronauer. Survivors include: nieces, Julie Creamer (Greg), Kay Sullivan (Greg), Nikki Sullivan (Nick), Andrea Conner and Tina Stephens (Corey); a sister, Audrey Brackett (Gus); beloved pet, Rowdy. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 11 am - 8 p.m. Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany.
