Miss Helen Bryant - SAVANNAH - Miss Helen W. Bryant, 84, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 07, 2012 at Tara Nursing Home. She was a native of Savannah, GA. She attended the public schools of Chatham County and Georgia State College (Savannah State University). She was employed as a Community Organizer for the Equal Opportunity Authority (EOA) for 31 years. She was a member of Speedwell United Methodist Church where served as Youth Ministry Coordinator and in many other capacities. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Bryan and Sadie Davis Bryan, brother, Paul Bryan and sister, Sadie B. Luten. Survivors are: her sisters, Lois Bryan of Staten Island, NY and Martha B. Luten, nieces and nephews, Horace Davis, Willie Davis, Isaac Luten, III, Delores Cook, Benjamin Hill, Yvonne Oglesby, Paul Bryan, Jr., Walter Luten, Jr., Paulette Hendrix, and Izetta Bolden, godchildren, Calvin Berksteiner, Isaiah Baker, and Jeremy Bonds and a host of other relatives.
