HELEN BODA FORMERLY OF DYER, IN Helen Boda, 95, formerly of Dyer, IN passed away May 16, 2009 in Mesa, AZ. Helen was born in East Chicago, IN and lived in Dyer, IN for 42 years prior to moving to Mesa, AZ. She is survived by her son, William K. Boda (Linda) of Gold Canyon, AZ; grandchildren: William C.Boda, Deborah Whapham, Karen Rhoads (James), Sharon Boda, Robert Brown (Diane), David Brown and Daniel Brown (Janet); eight great grandchildren and two great-great, grandchildren; fond niece, Marilyn Grambo (William); and nephews: Louis Stirminski, Clarence and Cecil Hines. Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph; beloved daughter, Joan Brown (George); grandson, Terrence Brown; sister, Mary Hines; and brothers: Louis and Daniel Stirminski. Cremation and private services will take place in Arizona. The interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.
