LUCAS Helen Benjack Lucas, age 96, of Stratford, formerly of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at Lord Chamberlain Nursing Home, Stratford. The daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Benjack, Helen was a lifelong resident of the West End of Bridgeport. She was a retired machinist for the Bead Chain Co., a past parishioner of St. Peter's Church, and a former member of the Sycamore Apartment Seniors. She is survived by her brother, Julius Benjack of New Jersey; one great-niece, Julie Forrest of Danbury; three great-nephews, John Korcsmaros of Danbury, Robert Korcsmaros of Arizona, and David Korcsmaros of Burlington. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday (TODAY) at 11 a.m. in the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, with the Rev. Lawrence Carroll officiating.
