MEMPHIS JOHNSON, HEATHER, 26 years old, died Tuesday, September 5, 2006 after an industrial accident at Americas Place Industrial Park in Jeffersonville, IN. She was a native of New Albany, IN, graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1998, and was employed as a machine operator for the Koetter Woodworking Company in Jeffersonville, IN. She had formerly been employed by The Greentree Four Movie Theater in Clarksville, IN. Survivors include her parents, Chet and Rita Johnson of Memphis, IN; sister, Kimberly Franklin (Demont) of Greenwood, IN; two brothers, Brad Johnson of New Albany, IN, and Kevin Johnson of Memphis, IN; and a niece, Jasmine Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, IN, with interment in Bowery Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon -8 p.m. on Friday and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.
