Hazel Barbare Williams, 81, of Greenville, went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, November 6, 2009.Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Lizzie Barbare. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement, she was a seamstress with Piedmont Industries. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Eugene D. 'Gene' Williams; daughter, Sherry W. Dickert and husband Ronnie E. Dickert, Sr. of Greenville; son, Terry E. Williams and wife Rose of Greenville; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was the last surviving member of her family. Visitation will be held Monday from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
