ROOKE, Hazel Mary It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hazel Mary Rooke, late of North Battleford, Sask. and formerly of Edmonton on January 23rd, 2004. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Margaret Rooke of Janvier, AB; granddaughter Shannon Rooke and great-grandson, Kayden Rooke of Battleford, SK; sisters: Evelyn Brown, North Battleford, SK; Marge Slater, Higley, AZ; Jeannette Lavoie, Lethbridge, AB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Harry Rooke; parents: Boyd and Florence Ricketts. Prayers will be held on Sunday, January 25th, 2004 at 7:30 pm from Sallows & McDonald Funeral Home, North Battleford, SK. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 26th, 2004 at 10:30 am from Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, North Battleford, SK. The family have requested that memorial donations be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Interment will take at the City Cemetery, North Battleford.
