Mrs. Hazel Mildred Terry Smith, 94, of Lancaster, widow to the late R.P. Smith, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, at her home.She was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Pageland, a daughter of the late Baron Terry and Lena Rushing Terry.A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Smith was 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, graveside at Jefferson City Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Sumner officiating.Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, Billy Smith and his wife, Brenda, of Lancaster; three daughters, Barbara McKinnon and her husband, Jack, of Conway, Mary Lou Miller and her husband, Wayne, of Lancaster, and Sandra Pittman of Waxhaw; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Jean Smith; 11 brothers and sisters; a son-in-law, James Pittman; a grandson, Todd Thompson; and two granddaughters, Rebecca Smith and Jaime Pittman.Memorial contributions may be made to Wade Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1232 Memorial Park Road, Lancaster, S.C. 29720.Notes to the family may be made at www.lancasterfuneralhome.com.Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mrs. Smith.
