-> Hazel Louise Howell Marchant, 85, of Savannah, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Cherokee County, GA, and was preceded in death by her husband, Lemmie J. Marchant. She was a retired seamstress, having worked in the Drapery Department of both Sear's & J. C. Penney's. She was known for her "Baby Clothes" that she so beautifully made. She was a Charter Member of Cresthill Baptist Church, where she served as Secretary of the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class, a member of the WMU, the Church Training Department, and had served as a Teacher for the Children's Sunday School Department at the Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Ike H. and Machelle Marchant, and L. Ray and Gladys Marchant, all of Savannah, GA; two daughters, Carolyn M. Mahany and Julie M. Smith both of Savannah, GA; a brother and sister in law, Ford and Ouida Howell of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Kim M. and David Di xon, Christopher L. and Marilyn Mahany, Patrick A. and Michelle Mahany, Marlo and Curtis Raymond, Rusty Browne, Todd R. Marchant, and Miranda A. Marchant; and nine great grandchildren, two step -great -grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. J. Cohen Arms, and Rev. Ken Jernigan, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Hubert C.
