Hazel Lee, née en 1923, conjointe de Henry-G. B. Lee, fille de Coy et Beatrice-Campbell-Duncan, mère de Rev et Kenneth D, est décédée le 19 juin 2008 à l'âge de 85 ans.
Hazel Duncan Lee, 85, widow of Henry G.B. (Speedy) Lee, and formerly of Bleckley Avenue, passed into the eternal presence of our Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Easley Living Center. Preparation for her passing was made many years ago by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. She was born in Greenville, the daughter of the late Coy M. Duncan and Beatrice Campbell Duncan Stone. Mrs. Lee was a charter member of Fair Heights Baptist Church (now Sanctuary Church) in Greenville. She retired as secretary of Fair Heights after forty years of faithful service. Surviving are one son, Rev. Dr. Timothy F. Lee and his wife, Judy, of Easley; one daughter-in-law, Ruby Lee Lowe of Mayo; four grandchildren, Christopher A. Lee and his wife, Anita, of Taylors, Anissa Lee Blake of Inman, T. Mark Lee and his wife, Carrie, of Greenville, and April Lee Wade and her husband, Eddie, of Liberty; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth D. Lee; a granddaughter, Lori Anne Lee; and two great-grandchildren. A celebration of the life of Mrs. Lee will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Sunday, June 22, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Dr. Timothy F. Lee and Rev. Joe Rollins. Visitation will be 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family wishes to thank Easley Living Center and caregiver Melissa Morris for their compassionate care. Memorials may be made to Hallmark Hospice, 117 Broadbent Way, Anderson, SC 29625. The family is at the home of Tim and Judy Lee, 100 James Creek Pt., Easley, SC 29640.
