Funeral services for Hazel Ingram Strickland, age 71, of Murrayville are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Danny Jones will officiate. Mrs. Strickland died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at her residence. She was a member of Northlake Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was a native of Hall County. Mrs. Strickland is survived by her husband, Harold Strickland of Murrayville; daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Ted Mendyka of Dacula and Kim and Gregg Teschner of Buford; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Lisa Strickland of Flowery Branch; sisters, Charlene Anderson of Murrayville and Louise Gilmer of Baldwin; her mother-in-law, Mary Strickland of Clermont; nine grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
