WILLIAMS, Mrs. Hattie, a resident of Montgomery, AL expired after an extended illness on Friday April 1, 2005. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 9, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Western Blvd. Church of Christ, 4040 Cresta Street - Montg. AL. With Brother Norris Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Madison Cemetery. Lee's Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her only child, S.C. Carthen Jr., of Montgom-ery, AL. Her memories will be cherished by one sister, Minnie Reed of Richmond, CA. Four grand-sons, S.C. Carthen, III, Tremane Car-then, Eric Carthen all of Montgom-ery, Al. and Tremele Carthen of Fay-etteville, NC. And a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
