Hattie Mae Mitchell Hattie Mae Mitchell, 85, a homemaker, died Friday, July 9, 2004. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at the chapel of Strong & Jones Funeral Home in Tallahassee (850-224-2139), with burial at Lewis Shelfer Cemetery in Havana. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT Friday at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.A native of Havana, she had lived in Tallahassee for several years. Survivors include three sons, William Mitchell of Newark, N.J., Willie Hunter of Tallahassee and John Hunter of Jersey City, N.J.; three daughters, Shirley Flagg of Hillside, N.J., Mary Smith Armstead of Newark and Liza Kennedy of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Willie Richardson and Lester Richardson, both of Fort Pierce; a sister, Rebecca Perkins of Sanford; 26 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
