Mrs. Hattie Mae Thompson was born June 13, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Thompson.She departed this life Friday, April 6, 2012, at her home in Tuscumbia, Ala.She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Robert Thompson Jr. and Clarence (Shanta) Thompson, of Tuscumbia, Ala., Carl A. Thompson, of Mayfield, Ky., and Joy T. (Charles) Smith, of Birmingham, Ala.; three brothers, Larry (Lora), Eddie Jr. and William (Lovie) Softley; five sisters, Mildred Langster, of Dallas, Texas, Ethel Davidson and Carrie Britton, of Cleveland, Ohio, Bonnie (Frank) Jefferson, of Rockford, Ill., Ellen (James) Fuqua, of Rogersville, Ala.; uncle, Richard (Bertha) Ricks, of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; aunts, Sylvia Speed, Lucille Thomas, Earnestine Williams, of Osceola, Ark.; one brother-in-law, Jimmy Thompson; and three sisters-in-law, Helen Scott, Louise Meade and Mable Thompson; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.Funeral services for Mrs. Thompson will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at St. Paul MB Church, Tuscumbia. Public viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home, Muscle Shoals.
