Morris Harvey James Morris, 81 of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday September 10th, 2005. Born in Upper Main River, Kent Co., May 24th,1924, he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Flanagan) Morris. He worked in Meriden, Connecticut as a roofer for G. R. Cummings Ltd, for 25 years retiring to Moncton and working for the Canadian Postal Service for 8 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Virginia (Whitten) Morris, his sons; David Morris (Amy) of Florida, Stephen Morris (Nancy) of Moncton, his grand-daughter; Margaret-Anne of Florida, step-grandchildren; Stacey Cormier of BC., Jill Cormier of Moncton, his sisters; Phyllis Beers (Percy) of Kent Co., Marjorie Lynch -Blasse (late Tony) of North Carolina, sisters-in-law Mary and Esther, brothers; Harold of New Jersey and Tom (Mary) of Lunenberg, NS. He was predeceased by his brothers; Blair, Hugh, and Gerald, all of the United States. In keeping with the families wishes, there will be no visitation prior to the graveside service to be held on Thursday, September 15th, at 11:00 am, in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Salisbury Road.
