Funeral for Harry N. Alexander, 74, of Decatur will be Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Caudle officiating. An Elk’s graveside service will also be held. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Alexander died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born March 23, 1929, in Alabama to Rile N. Alexander and Lucille Kelly Alexander. He was retired from Monsanto. He was a member of Moulton Heights Baptist Church, Elk’s Lodge No. 655, American Legion and V.F.W. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Alexander; and two sons, Joe Mack Alexander and Kelly Durrell Alexander. Survivors include one son, Dale N. Alexander of Decatur; two brothers, Durell Alexander of Decatur and Ralph K. Alexander of Trinity; one sister, Roberta Henson of Memphis, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Ken Collier, Robert Jones, Lewis Russell, Tommy Hartselle, Jep Tallent and Steven Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be Walt McCurry, Lucian McCulloch and Doyle Bryant.
