Harry E. Jordan Harry E. Jordan, beloved husband of 59 years, father of two, grandfather to five, great grandfather to five, brother to eight, and a gentle friend and dedicated servant of God, passed away at his home on July 17, 2010, at the age of 78. He has peacefully and joyfully gone to the home he has been waiting for. He is survived by his wife, Sue Jordan of Alpharetta, GA; son, Danny Jordan and wife, Betty of Tallahassee, FL; and son, Michael Jordan and wife, Penny of Alpharetta, GA. He is also survived by sister, Mary Singleton; sister, Laura Vaughn; and brother, Tommy Jordan of Anderson.He was preceded by his mother and father, Lillie Mae and Homer Jordan; four sisters; and one brother, all from Anderson, SC. Harry proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1995, from Leon Industrial in Tallahassee, FL. He deeply loved his entire family. He was a member of Restoration Church of God in Alpharetta.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT on Tuesday at Northside Chapel in Roswell, GA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Restoration Church of God in Alpharetta, GA. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Anderson at 4 p.m. with a small gathering afterward at the home of Mary Singleton, 1020 Crestview Road in Anderson.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Restoration Church of God, 410 Rucker Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004.
