JORDAN, HARRY DOUGLAS The passing of Harry Douglas Jordan, of Fredericton, NB husband of the late Edith (Jones) Jordan, occurred on July 19, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 28, 1920 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Rainsford and Lillian (Smith) Jordan. Harry was a lineman with NB Power; A veteran of the II World War. Harry was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 and a Mason. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Harry is survived by his daughter, Shiela Jordan of Fredericton, NB; sister, Ruby Bailey of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Harry was predeceased by his sisters, Rita Jordan, Tressa Holland, Gladys Beairsto and Alta Estey; brothers, Merritt, Randolph, Walter, Hazen and Charles. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, July 20, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place at Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 2 pm with Pastor Harold Arbo officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunny Bank Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Greenwood Drive Baptist Church, Alzheimer Society of NB or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
