-> Mrs. Harriet Jean Owens, 89, died Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at her residence. She was a Bryan County native and a member of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in Pembroke, GA., where she served as Mother of the Church, as a Missionary, and other auxiliaries. She was preceded in death by her husband Deacon Edward Owens and a daughter Dorothy A. Owens. She is survived by one daughter, Bernice (Colbertt) of Syracuse, NY; two brothers, George Johnson of Ellabell and Gessman Johnson of Meldrim and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation: 7-8 p.m., Friday in Robena Raymond Memorial Chapel at Craig R. Tremble & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, Pembroke, GA., with Rev. Larry Duncan officiating. Burial: Church Cemetery. Craig R.
