Hal Richard 'Bink' Williams, 75, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born June 7, 1937, in Lancaster, a son of the late Lester Heyward Williams Sr. and Evorite Lynn Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of Douglas Presbyterian Church. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Williams was Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Douglas Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Harriss Ricks officiating. Burial was in the Douglas Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Ruth Horne Williams of Lancaster; two sons, Ted R. Williams and Don J. Williams, both of Lancaster; three daughters, Debbie W. Crenshaw and her husband, Tony, Missy W. Cox and her husband, Bryan, and Gina Williams, all of Lancaster; one sister, Betty W. Plyler of Lancaster; and five grandchildren, Matt Williams, Brad Williams, Whitney Williams, Megan Williams and Michael Cox. He was preceded in death by one son, Gregory S. Williams; one brother, Lester Williams, Jr.; and three sisters, Mary W. Carnes, Dorothy W. Gregory and Carol W. Reed. Memorial contributions may be made to Douglas Presbyterian Church, 2325 Sunday Place, Lancaster, SC 29720. Lancaster Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family of Mr. Williams.
