Teacher, Musician & Artist AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Hal Hill Henderson, age 71, of Brooks Manor, Augusta, GA died on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at his home. Born on September 20, 1934 in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late Edward Palmer Henderson and Fannie Wright Hill Henderson. Mr. Henderson graduated Valedictorian from Aiken High School and was a graduate of Presbyterian College, Clinton, SC. In the 1950's, he worked with Jones & Presnell Photography in Charlotte, NC. He had taught Biology and Music at Charlotte Hall Military Academy in Maryland and later worked at Tele Sec in Washington, DC. Hal was a talented and accomplished musician and artist throughout his life and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a member of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Augusta. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Palmer Henderson, III. He is survived by: two sisters, Rosa Hill Henderson Murray of Falmouth, Massachusetts,Julia Stuart Henderson Oates of Lake Summit, North Carolina, As well as five nieces; Carol M. Nichols of Mashpee, Massachusetts,Clare M. Phinney of Greenville, SC,Lisa M. Robards of Rock Hill, SC,Kathy O. McLeod of Mill Valley, CA, Frances Henderson Oates of Hendersonville, NC,and a nephew, Walter Montgomery Oates, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC.Memorial services will be held at a later date in the Summer of 2006 at the Henderson Family Plot in Bethany Cemetery, Aiken, SC.
