ObituaryHelen M. Henderson, nee Sizen, age 78, of N. Fort Myers, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2010 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL following an extended illness. She was born February 27, 1932 in Dearborn, MI the daughter of John and Alexandra (Konarszewska) Sizen. On April 14, 1952, she married Robert J. Henderson in Dearborn, moving to Georgia, Missouri and Michigan. Prior to her retirement in 1990, Mrs. Henderson was an elementary school teacher in the Missouri, Michigan, and Georgia for many years. Also Mrs. Henderson was the past president of the Henry County, Georgia Cancer Society.Surviving is her husband, Robert J; daughter, Suzanne McLeod; son, Robert J. Jr., son, Michael J.; son, Gregory T.; daughter, Patricia Beard; son, David S.; 14 grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton (810-229-9871) on Thursday, April 15 from 4 to 8 PM. Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday, April 16 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, 2201 S. Old US 23, Brighton, MI 48114 with the Rev. Fr. David F. Howell, celebrating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday.Interment of ashes will follow in Bell Tower.
