Helen Louise Smith, 99, Bradenton, died July 27, 2003. She was born Dec. 13, 1903, in Miamisburg, Ohio and came to Manatee County more than 20 years ago from Dayton, Ohio. She retired from General Motors in Dayton. She was a member of Bradenton Gospel Tabernacle. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy L. Guthrie of Bradenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota Chapel. Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
