HARRIS, HELEN ANNA, 92, Beloved mother, grandmother great-grandmother and aunt, went home to be with the Lord February 9, 2006. Helen was a resident of Avante at Jax. Beach, FL, for her last four years where she was lovingly cared for and endeared herself to all. She was born in Holton, IN, on April 17, 1913 and was one of 11 children who were raised on a farm. She was preceded in death by her husband Blaine Harris in 1991. She moved to FL, in 1954 and lived in Orlando for many years. Helen was a homemaker and known for her delicious homemade pies, cookies and cakes. She had the gift of hospitality, making all feel loved and welcome in her home. She was a long time member of College Pk. United Meth. Church. She was a dear mother and is survived by three children, Lowell Harris, Dade City, FL, Ronald Harris, Buford GA, Donna Parham, Neptune Beach, FL; and two sisters, Bernice Holle, Rochester, MN, Virginia Bishop, Beech Grove, IN; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10AM Monday, February 13, 2006 at the College Park Methodist Church, 644 W Princeton St., Orlando, FL 32804. Friends are welcome to gather prior to the service.
