MANCHESTER - Loving mother and grandmother, Helen Anderson went to be with the Lord on Aug. 5, 2103, at the age of 86. She was born in Dundee, Scotland, and emigrated to the United States as an infant with her parents, Samuel and Mary Wilson. Raised on Long Island, N.Y., Helen later became a longtime resident of New Hampshire. She was a proud member of the American Legion, Jutras Post, serving as president of the Ladies Auxiliary. She spent her final years residing at Hackett Hill Healthcare, where she brought a smile to many faces. Her daughters, Cheryl Anderson and Sharon Fenton, and beloved grandchildren, Melanie Fenton and Gage Fenton, USMC, will forever carry Helen in their hearts. . services: She will be honored during a worship service at the Congregational Church of Goffstown on Aug. 18 at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Manchester Animal Shelter (490 Dunbarton Road, Manchester 03102).
