Helen Sadale McCormick Anderson, 74, formerly of Ward, South Carolina, widow of Myer Lee Anderson, died November 9, 2008. She was the daughter of the late David G. and America Padgett McCormick. She was a member of Ridge Spring Baptist Church in Ridge Spring, South Carolina.Surviving are three sons and their wives, Larry (Myra) Anderson of Speedwell, Tenn., Marvin L. (Terry) Anderson, and Tony G. (Laura) Anderson both of Simpsonville; two brothers and their wives, David (Janice) McCormick of Monetta, S.C. and Virgil (Sylvia) McCormick of Anderson, S.C.; one grandson and his wife, Marcus (Misty) Anderson of Knoxville, Tenn.; three granddaughters, Michelle and Renee Anderson, both of Mauldin, S.C. and Kaci Anderson of Speedwell, Tenn. Mrs. Anderson was pre-deceased by one son, Ronald Lee Anderson and one granddaughter Cheralen Anderson.Services will be held Wednesday, November 12 at Ridge Spring Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Reverend Chris Yeargin officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 11 from 6-8 p.m. at The Hamilton Mortuary in Ridge Spring, SC. The family requests memorials to be made to Ridge Spring Baptist Church, P.O. Box 364, Ridge Spring, SC 29129. The Hamilton Mortuary of Ridge Spring is in charge of arrangements.
