Hazel was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that you could ever ask for.Mrs. Day spent more than 50 years in New Albany. Her and her husband, Bill, had a vacation home in Fort Myers, FL. and in Vero Beach, FL. where they enjoyed many wonderful winters there together. They finally settled down in Fort Myers, a place that they called their paradise sweet paradise.She is survived by her husband, Billy Bert Day of 64 years; son, Billy Wayne Day, her daughter, Carolyn Sue Day, 3 Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandchild, a sister, Marie Ward, and a brother, William Zurschmiede.
