DAVIS, Harold Eugene, 72 aPrattville resident, passedaway Sunday, April 26, 2009.Funeral services will be heldat 11:00 a.m. Wednesdayfrom the First Baptist Churchwith Dr. Travis Coleman andthe Reverend Dave Burns officiating. Mr. Davis was bornon October 22, 1936, in LevelPlains, Alabama to the lateSpurgeon Bruce and MarieSpeigner Davis. He was a retired account manager fromKraft Foods with twenty nineyears of service. An avid golfer, Mr. Davis was Past President of the Prattville CountryClub, Past President of thePrattville Babe Ruth LittleLeague, a long time member of First Baptist Church,and served in various civic organizations and projects overthe years. He is survived byhis loving wife of forty-fouryears, Jean H. Davis of Prattville, a daughter and son-in-law, Krista and Lee Smitherman of Atlanta, Georgia, ason and daughter-in-law, Haland Lyndy Davis of Prattville,grandchildren, Leigh andHallie Davis, a sister andbrother-in-law, Betty and Freddie Haynes of Lynn Haven,Florida, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.Active Pallbearers will be retired coworkers of Kraft Foodsto include Jerry Potts, MaxFletcher, Wayne Sewell, Jimmy Wallace, Jim Lovern, JerryShepherd, and Don Davis.Honorary Pallbearers will bethe Pete Walden SundaySchool Class.
