LOWE, Gwennyth Mae (nee Brown) Passed away Saturday, October 23rd at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario at the age of 72 after a brief battle with cancer. Throughout her life she touched those she knew with her good nature, love of life, and generosity. She is forever loved and remembered by her husband Harry (Hap), daughter Kathy and husband Brad Flowers, son John, and dear grandchildren Jennifer and Ryan. Gwen will live forever in the hearts of her loving brothers and sisters; Allan and Betty Brown, Dr. Murray and Una Brown, Myrna and Bob Sinclair, Donna and Rino Stradiotto. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-laws, Marion Stephens and Agnes Lowe, Julie Lowe, her 17 nieces and nephews, and many friends. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at Royal Victoria Hospital, and will be forever grateful to the Doctors and Nurses of the Palliative Care Unit who cared for Gwen in the last days of her life. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 28th at 4:00 p.m. at Collier Street United Church, 112 Collier Street, Barrie, Ontario. A reception in the Church Hall will follow. To celebrate Gwen's life, family and friends are invited to The MacLaren Art Centre, 37 Mulcaster Street (at Collier), Barrie at 6:30 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Gwen, to either of the following foundations, would be appreciated.
