CHESTER - Gwendolyn "Wendy" Bobar Williams, 53, of Chester, Vt., loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at Springfield Hospital, after a battle with breast cancer.Surviving family: mother, Georgianna Bobar of Chester; husband, Kenneth Williams of Chester; daughter, Ericca Brisson and husband Jim of Poultney; two sons, Glenn Williams of Brattleboro and Buddy Williams and his wife Wendy of Chester; three sisters, Gracie Griffin of Bellows Falls, Gloria Paradis of Springfield and Gale Howard of Springfield; four brothers, Glenn Bobar Jr. of Bellows Falls, Gary Bobar of Bellows Falls, Greg "Bo" Bobar of Chester and Gerald Bobar of Ohio; nine grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.She was predeceased by her father, Glenn Bobar Sr., in August 1976.Wendy enjoyed crafting, reading, sewing, gardening and bargain hunting.Wendy was a private housekeeper for many years in the Springfield area.A celebration of her life will be held at the Adams & Kenney Funeral Homes, Depot Street, Chester, at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008.
