Davis, "Bud" passed away at Mount Vernon Veterans Home on February 26th, 2013 at the age of 82.Guy was predeceased by his wife Mary (Wilson) Davis, an infant son, Guy, his father, Shelva E. Davis and mother, Jeanette Davis.Guy is survived by his loving wife Shirley Ann.Guy is lovingly remembered by his daughter Jackie (Chris) Hanifan and his son David (Candace), his step-son Donnie Jennings, his brothers Edwin (Clarisse) of Phoenix, Arizona and Shelva L. (Barbara) of Bellaire, Ohio, a nephew Ed Davis of Phoenix, and nieces Michelle Davis Guerra of Phoenix, Arizona and Stacy Davis of Rochester, New York.Guy was born in Bellaire, Ohio, on October 25th, 1930. He graduated from Bellaire High School, with the class of 1948, attended Bethany College and went on to own his insurance agency in Springfield, Missouri. Guy served in the Air Force, was an active member of the Elks 409, of Springfield, Missouri, American Legion, and Osiris Shrine. He was an avid fisherman and golfer and a member of the Green Hills Country Club at Willard.The funeral plans for Guy will be announced at a later date.
