Mr. Grady "Sonny" Smith, age 60, of 202 West 141 Street, New York, N.Y., passed Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at the Laurens County Hospital, Clinton, S.C.A native of Laurens County, S.C., he resided for many years in New York City, where he was employed with the hospital systems of New York.He was the son of the late Julia Smith.He is survived by his wife, Ms. Anna White Smith of the home; two sons, Mr. Almine Smith, Staten Island, N.Y., and Mr. Walter Parson, Laurens, S.C.; three daughters, Ms. Anjeanetta Boyce, Laurens, S.C., Ms. Natasha Smith, New York, and Ms. Connie Castro, Charlotte, N.C.; a stepson, Mr. Herbie White, New York; two brothers, Mr. Claude Smith, Clinton, S.C., and Mr. James Johnson, Florida; a sister, Ms. Sadie Johnson, New York.Funeral Services for Mr. Grady "Sonny" Smith will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, 2 p.m. from the David N. & Jeannette H. Goins Memorial Chapel of Goins Funeral Home -- burial to follow in Calvary Memorial Gardens, Laurens, S.C. -- the Rev.
