Old Lyme - Grace Chapman Carter Miller, 94, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Chesterfield's Health Care Center.A lifelong resident of Old Lyme, she was born July 19, 1911, daughter of Elmer John and Lucy Watrous Chapman Carter.She was a graduate of Northfield Academy and Willimantic State Teacher's College.She married the late Albert Kenneth Miller on Dec. 15, 1936.Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, Mair Miller and her husband, Robert DeBartolo, of Centerbrook, Carole Lamourine and her husband, Richard Lamourine, of South Lyme, and John Miller and his wife, Jenny Miller, of Morristown, Ariz.; a brother, Robert Charles Carter, of Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandsons and ten great-grandchildren.A Memorial Service of Christian Burial will be held at St Ann's Episcopal Church, 82 Shore Road, Old Lyme on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11 a.m.Memorial gifts may be made to Chesterfield Health Care Facility Staff, 132 Main St., Chester, CT 06412.
