Grace Marie Anderson, 90, died Oct. 10, 2006, at her home in Grants Pass. She was a former resident of Fort Pierce and Hobe Sound. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Florida in 1985 from Levittown, N.Y. She moved to Grants Pass from Hobe Sound in November 2002. Before retirement, she worked at Merrill Lynch for 20 years as a secretary and stockbroker. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Grants Pass. Throughout her life she was active in church organizations and ministries, including the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Sierra Club and the Eucharistic ministers. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey S. Anderson of Grants Pass, Lloyd Anderson of Goleta, Calif., and Brian J. Anderson of Santa Cruz, Calif.; brother, William V.F. Flushing of Florida; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Arthur Anderson. SERVICES: A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Oct. 13 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Grants Pass, with the Rev. Peter O'Brien officiating. Arrangements are by Chapel of the Valley-L.B. Hall Funeral Home in Grants Pass.
