->WATERVILLE -- Grace Barbara LaBonte of Waterville died at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville, on Aug. 10, 2008.She was born in Brewer on Feb. 22, 1933, to Raymond and Thelma (Price) Grady.Grace was married to Roland LaBonte on Nov. 6, 1954.Grace belonged to several organizations and received many awards for her faithful community service. She volunteered at the Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen and was a member of the Rosary Sodality and the Messalonskee Alumni Association. She received many awards including the Jefferson Award in 1992, Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club, the Eagle Award in 2000, the Waterville Centennial Award and the Ernest C. Mariner Award for the Quality of Life in 1988.Grace was predeceased by her husband, Roland, in 1996.Grace is survived by her five children, Peter of Waterville, Paul and his wife, Lynn, of Rome, Catherine and her husband, Sumner, of Oakland, Rachel of Waterville and Thomas of Waterville; and 11 grandchildren, Elisa, Kevin, Eileen, Timothy, Andrea, Stephanie, Rebecca, Nicole, Melissa, Jacob and Joshua. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Grady and his wife, Linda, of Oakland; a sister, Martha Bessey and her husband, James, of West Farmington; as well as many nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Aug. 14 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery will follow. Arrangements are with Veilleux Funeral Home in Waterville.
