Gordon R. Hill ROCHESTER - Gordon R. Hill, 81, died Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Gafney Home in Rochester following a period of failing health. Born May 30, 1933, in Massachusetts he was the son of Gordon and Ruth Hill. Mr. Hill was retired from the U.S. Army and later retired from the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard. Gordon was a member of the Morrison Lodge #90 of Northwood; the Bektash Shrine of Concord and former member of the American Legion Post 7 of Rochester. He is survived by extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday September 13, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, N.H.
