Gloria Whitmarsh Boyce of Johnson CityGloria Whitmarsh Boyce, 65, of Johnson City, died Sunday morning, February 10, 2002 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Warren and Ada Whitmarsh. She is survived by her sister and beloved brother-in-law, Carolyn and Melvin Caffrey, Hempstead, LI.; her beloved nephew, Patrick Caffrey; and two great-nieces, Megan and Dana Caffrey, Massapequa, LI. Gloria assisted the Doctors at Surgical Associates PC for over 25 years. She was an early member of the Triple Cities Opera Workshop and sang at the N.Y. State American Gold Star Mother's Convention and in various concerts and operas. She took various ribbons for her ceramic work, a hobby she loved. She was a beloved sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her and was known for her great sense of humor and jokes. Funeral and interment services will be held at J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. David C. Seaver, Chaplain of Spiritual Care at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, will officiate. Burial will be in Kattelville Cemetery, Kattelville. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Gloria may be made to the American Heart Association, 59 Court St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
