Service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Gloria Jean Wilson, 61, Altoona, who died Thursday, May 1, 2008. The Revs. Jerry Waldon and Scott Dean will officiate. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing.Mrs. Wilson was a special sister and mother. She was a member of Pleasant View Church of God in Henagar and was a faithful servant of God.She was preceded in death by her parents, Judge and Gladys Childress; husband, Marshall Wilson; and daughters, Connie Walker and Ann Ott.She is survived by her sons, William Ladon "Flip" (Tammy) Wilson, Trenton, Ga., and Amon Wallace "Bo" (Lori) Wilson, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Starla (Jay) Hodge, Anthony Castleberry, Clay Castleberry, Candice Walker, Nicholas Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Rebecca Wilson and Matthew Wilson; great-grandchildren, Emanuel Hodge, Gabriel Hodge and Antania Castleberry; sisters, Shelby (Wiley) Minyard, Pat (Glen) Autwell, Faye (David) Allen, Brenda (Danny) Dean, Shelia Hayes and Darlene (Willis) Bryant; and brothers, Raymond (Polly) Childress, Edward (Sandy) Childress, Johnny (Barbara) Childress and Larry Childress.Pallbearers are Keith Allen, David Allen Jr., Jeffrey Lindsey, Larry Bryson, Tommy Griffith, Larry Childress, Shane Dean and Jody Wilder.Special thanks to Gadsden Regional Hospice, Lynn, Lisa, Tonya and Jennifer.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
